General Questions:

  • To purchase an exam, navigate to our shop and explore available options. While you can opt for an exam-only package, we highly recommend considering our bundle deals. These bundles not only include your exam voucher but also offer comprehensive learning and practice materials to maximise your chances of success. Once you've selected your product, proceed to checkout to finalise your purchase.

    Our team will process your order, and your voucher will be delivered electronically within 1-2 working days.

  • An exam retake is a do-over for an exam you didn't pass the first time. It's created as a second chance if you face any unexpected problems during your first attempt. Plus, it saves you from having to repurchase the whole test. It's like getting a second shot at success without extra cost.

  • You have 12 months to study and sit for your exam. This gives you plenty of time prepare at your own pace.

  • Navigate towards the booking page and enter your details. Choose a date and time suitable to your schedule. You will receive a confirmation email upon submitting your details.

  • Yes, you can sit your exam from anywhere you feel most comfortable.

    Keep in mind that online exams do require a stable internet connection and sitting at a physical testing centre can be a more reliable testing experience.

  • Most of our certifications have a 50-minute time limit, but there are exceptions such as Autodesk exams which can take up to 1hr 20mins. You should allow 70 – 90 minutes to get settled and logged in.

    Please note: This will be a monitored exam.

  • You will receive an exam link on the Monday before your exam date.

    If you have booked an exam after the Monday and during the week of the exam, you will receive a link before your scheduled exam start time.

  • Each exam has its unique set of questions, environments, and requirements. The most effective way to gear up is through our practice tests, allowing you to simulate the real exam environment on your computer as much as you need.

  • Before the exam:

    • Visit the Certiport website to create your account - this is required on the day of your exam. Assign your voucher code to your account.

    • Allocate 15 minutes before your exam start time to prepare for the exam.

    • The proctor will open the exam session 5 minutes before the exam starts.

    Exam start:

    • You will have 15 minutes to sign into your account and navigate the tutorial.

    • When you first sign in, select YES to having a voucher code, and select your voucher code to begin.

    • Once you have completed the tutorial, your exam starts, and so does the time.

    • You will have 50 minutes (depending on your type of exam) to complete your session.

    • The exam will auto-close once the time has been reached. All unanswered questions will be marked as 0 and count towards your score.

    • TIP: Before your exam time is finished, you have the chance to return to previous questions. Be sure to mark and skip questions as ‘Review’ when you don’t fully understand them and come back to them at the end!

    Exam end:

    • Once you have finished the exam, you can access your score report - this will provide in-depth details on your score and whether you have passed or failed the exam. Please do not download the report, as it will not save to your computer.

    • To download your certificate and report, log into your Certiport account and navigate to the 'My Transcripts' tab.

  • Yes, it does. The exam voucher expires 12 months from the date of purchase.

    Exam vouchers that are not used in that period cannot be renewed.

Technical Questions:

  • You will receive a link once you have booked your exam the Monday before your scheduled exam date. This link will take you to a remote-access desktop with installed software.

    Once you have logged into your Certiport account and submitted your exam voucher code, the proctor will unlock the exam for you, and you can begin. You will have 50 minutes to complete your exam

  • To access your exam, you'll need an exam voucher purchased from our online store, or an authorised NZIQ reseller.

    This is an example of the 16-digit exam voucher: S16K-XXXX-7623-S5ZK.

    Keep it handy for exam day!

  • For your exam, you may need to download and install specific software. If you're using a work computer, ensure you have permission to install software, which might require contacting your IT department for help.

    A reliable internet connection is crucial for taking the exam. For a smoother experience, we suggest using a personal computer in a stable network environment. This ensures you have the necessary access and reduces potential technical issues during your exam.

Certification & Badging:

  • We will not mail a physical certificate to you. You can download and print the digital version.

    If you would like to download your certificate, please log into your Certiport account and navigate towards the 'My Transcripts' tab.

    You will see two options for you to choose from:

    • Certificate PDF:
      This is the downloadable version of your certificate, ready to be printed or shared.

    • Score Reports:
      For a more detailed view of how you scored on your exam

  • An Adobe, Microsoft, PMI, etc. certification on your CV signals your expertise to employers worldwide, highlighting your relevance in your field. Moreover, certifications are increasingly becoming a requirement for job seekers by governments globally, underscoring their importance in professional advancement.

  • Our globally recognised certifications come with digital badges for easy online sharing. These digital badges symbolise your achievement of passing an exam and earning a certification.

    After meeting the certification criteria, you receive an email with your digital badge. This badge embeds metadata detailing the issuer, the earned qualifications, and the issuance date. You can share your badge across social media, email, or online portfolios, enabling potential employers or colleagues to verify and view your accomplishment.

Practice Test & Learning Material:

  • Yes, it does. However, it only expires 12 months from the date of the code activation, providing sufficient time to prepare and practice. Ideal for self-paced study.

  • While it's not required, we strongly recommend using the actual software for Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Autodesk to help practice for exams and learn the material. This approach enhances your preparation, offering you the most effective hands-on experience.

    • To access your purchased practice tests and learning materials, log in to the GMetrix platform, where you can use your Google or Microsoft accounts or sign up with your email.

    • Upon login, choose 'Start a New Test' and enter your provided Access Key, ensuring it matches exactly, including case sensitivity and without spaces.

    • You'll then select your application and desired mode—either Testing for a timed, exam-like scenario or Training for a self-paced, instructional experience.
